These grapes
produced a Cabernet Sauvignon with a slightly lighter color and a beautiful
aroma of vanillin, black cherry, currants and blackberries. A burst of
black cherry and blackberry greets you in the font of the palate. The
tannins and acidity are finely balanced throughout the mid palate and is
followed by a pleasant finish that ends with a hint a tobacco and
smokiness. The finish is shorter than the bigger cabs but it doesn’t leave
you feeling like you missed anything.

This Cab Franc continues
to amaze. The grape from this vineyard continue to produce consistent
high quality fruit. Distinct
Cabernet Franc fruity candy nose, the taste has a touch of sweetness with
smooth acid and mild tongue coating tannins that leave a soft lingering
finish. Nice starting red wine, smooth and easy to start a tasting
series.
