Our wines are made from vineyards managed and selected by Peter and Kevin Murphy. Each year grapes from these select vineyards undergo an amazing saga that starts long before harvest. The stories of theses wines are born when the first plant of the vineyard is settled in the cultivated soil. This is where Murphy Vineyards starts the process that produces  premium wines.

Peter Murphy founded Murphy Vineyards in 1995 and began making wine with a special select lot of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Mt. Veeder area of Napa Valley. The first production resulted in 2 barrels of a beautiful single vineyard Napa Valley Cabernet. Today Murphy Vineyards continues to make wine with the same diligence as the first production.

With the addition of Kevin Murphy in 2006, the two of them have worked together to mold and create the style of Murphy Vineyards. With production slightly larger than the first vintage and now producing more than one varietal, they are able to match their growing talents to the highest form of the winemakers art: Blending. In each bottle you will find complex aromas, solid structure with a long smooth finish. Truly easy drinking wine.
