A classic example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon: big, bold aromas of ripe, melt-in-your-mouth plums, berries and cherries are followed by hints of anise, sandalwood and Madagascar vanilla on the palate. This full-bodied, meat lover’s wine doesn’t sacrifice body or weight for smoothness.

Production notes
The 2004 growing season was a warm one, resulting in this fruit-forward, complex Cabernet Sauvignon from Aetna Springs and St. Helena. The majority of fruit hails from Larry Paraday’s Vineyard, a unique, three-acre vineyard on Ink Grade Road in Aetna Springs. The rest comes from Wehr Vineyards on Zinfandel Lane and Cowan Vineyards on Sulphur Springs Road. Both properties benefit from the slightly cooler climate of St. Helena. The result is a smooth wine that is worthy of 15 years of age.
